JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Technical Enablement Platforms Project Manager within the company’s Enablement Platforms Tower, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise technology initiatives supporting Managed File Transfer, Integration Services, Document Management, API Enablement, and broader platform modernization efforts. You will drive strategic programs that span multiple technology teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and enterprise platforms while ensuring delivery outcomes align with long-term operational and business objectives.
This role requires more than traditional project coordination. You will serve as a technical delivery leader responsible for managing complex dependencies, facilitating alignment across architecture, engineering, operations, and business teams, and translating technical complexity into actionable plans and executive-level communications. You will proactively identify risks, gaps, and delivery challenges, drive resolution of systemic issues, and help teams navigate complex implementation decisions.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical fluency and is comfortable engaging in discussions regarding system architecture, integration patterns, platform interactions, and enterprise data flows. While not expected to function as an architect or engineer, you must be capable of challenging assumptions, validating technical approaches, understanding delivery implications, and partnering effectively with technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.
You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery success, including project execution, production readiness, operational transition, adoption, supportability, and long-term platform stability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Delivery and Execution
- Lead delivery of large-scale technology initiatives across Managed File Transfer, Integration Services, Document Management, API Enablement, platform modernization, migration, consolidation, and technical debt reduction programs.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, assumptions, readiness criteria, financial impacts, resource needs, risks, issues, and decisions across complex technology initiatives.
- Drive migration planning, deployment readiness, cutover activities, stabilization, adoption planning, and operational transition activities.
- Coordinate execution across engineering, architecture, operations, vendors, infrastructure teams, platform owners, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery plans account for technical dependencies, integration requirements, support models, production readiness criteria, and operational success measures.
- Own delivery outcomes from initiation through post-implementation stabilization and operational handoff.
Technical Leadership and Delivery Management
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of system architecture, integration patterns, enterprise data flows, platform interactions, and technology delivery practices.
- Partner with architects and engineers to validate delivery approaches, dependency models, sequencing strategies, and implementation plans.
- Challenge and validate technical assumptions, delivery risks, implementation strategies, and proposed solutions to improve execution outcomes.
- Identify architecture gaps, integration risks, design concerns, operational weaknesses, and delivery obstacles before they impact project success.
- Translate complex technical concepts and decisions into clear business, operational, and executive-level communications.
- Facilitate decision-making across technical and business teams while balancing delivery objectives, constraints, and risk exposure.
Cross-Team Coordination and Dependency Leadership
- Coordinate delivery across multiple interconnected workstreams involving integration services, document management, APIs, infrastructure services, security teams, and external vendors.
- Establish alignment across technical and business teams to ensure successful execution of cross-platform initiatives.
- Manage complex dependencies, sequencing requirements, shared resources, readiness concerns, and competing priorities across multiple programs.
- Lead working sessions to resolve issues, accelerate decision-making, remove blockers, and maintain delivery momentum.
- Drive resolution of systemic delivery challenges and recurring execution bottlenecks rather than simply tracking project activities.
Stakeholder and Governance Management
- Build trusted partnerships with technology leaders, architects, engineers, operations teams, vendors, sponsors, and business stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between platform teams, business stakeholders, project sponsors, vendors, and PMO leadership to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
- Prepare executive communications, governance materials, project health assessments, and leadership updates that clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.
- Proactively manage scope, schedule, finances, RAID items, assumptions, and change requests while driving accountability and resolution.
Operational Readiness and Service Transition
- Partner with operations and support organizations to establish support models, monitoring strategies, service ownership, and operational readiness requirements.
- Ensure production support processes, documentation, training, escalation procedures, and knowledge transfer activities are completed prior to implementation.
- Validate supportability, maintainability, performance, resiliency, and operational readiness before solutions move into production.
- Drive service transition planning and post-implementation stabilization activities to ensure sustainable long-term platform success.
- Establish success measures that extend beyond project completion and include adoption, operational performance, and business value realization.
Financial and PMO Alignment
- Support project financial planning, budget management, contractor forecasting, and resource allocation activities.
- Ensure compliance with PMO governance standards, reporting requirements, and project lifecycle expectations.
- Promote consistent use of project management best practices including RAID management, milestone tracking, reporting, governance, and change control processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of project management, program management, technical program management, or technology delivery experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex technology programs involving multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders within large enterprise environments.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas:

- Experience partnering directly with architects, engineers, operations teams, platform owners, and technical leaders to deliver complex solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, gaps, dependencies, operational concerns, and delivery challenges early.
- Proven ability to drive alignment, accountability, and execution across highly matrixed organizations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
