About the Role
We’re looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who loves working with kids and has experience (or a strong interest) in supporting children. This role is all about creativity, patience, and connection—turning therapy into play while making a real impact in a child’s daily life.
What You’ll Do
- Provide one-on-one, play-based therapy for children
- Support skill development in areas like fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and social participation
- Engage in treatment plans established by our OTR that are tailored to each child’s needs
- Use evidence-based approaches to support children with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and related conditions
- Partner closely with families to carry over strategies at home
- Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
- Track progress and celebrate every milestone along the way
Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with sensory integration, neurodevelopmental approaches, or similar frameworks is a plus
- Clinical adaptability and boundary awareness
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to clinical needs
- Strong communication skills with both children and caregivers
- A team player who brings positive energy
