Job DescriptionClient is looking for an Administrative Assistant – Front Desk Lobby Receptionist to support the Security and Administrative Department. As a member of the Security and Administrative Department you’ll be responsible for greeting and processing visitors, answering and managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to site management. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and play a key role in creating a positive first impression. This position will be located on-site at Client, Space Sector, Payload and Ground Systems, Mission Enabling Products, Goleta, California.
Responsibilities:
• Greeting visitors, verifying identification, processing them in the company visitor system and issuing a visitor badge.
• Answering and managing phone calls, paging employees, taking messages, and transferring calls.
• Providing administrative support, such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.
• Handling correspondence and managing office supplies.
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Maintaining a clean and organized main lobby and reception area.
• Issuing, collecting, inventorying, and cleaning visitor badges.
• Assisting with other clerical tasks as needed.
Basic Qualifications for Administrative Assistant – Receptionist:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers)
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Preferred Qualifications for Administrative Assistant - Receptionist:
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
