Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Meineke Car Care Center in Oceanside. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong customer service skills, automotive service knowledge, and the ability to drive team performance and profitability.

The Store Manager will oversee shop operations, manage technicians and front-office staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the automotive service center
  • Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Monitor sales goals, labor performance, and profitability metrics
  • Ensure accurate estimates, invoicing, and workflow management
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members
  • Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and parts ordering
  • Ensure the shop maintains a clean, organized, and professional environment

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of management experience in automotive repair or a related service industry
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities
  • Understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services
  • Experience with POS/shop management software preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Sales and performance management experience
  • Knowledge of automotive service estimating
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
