Integrator / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: Delano, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Exempt
Compensation: $180,000-$210,000 annually
Compensation is flexible depending on experience and overall fit.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
This is a fully onsite executive leadership position. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.

Our client is a fourth-generation, family-owned agricultural company located in California's San Joaquin Valley. Over the past two years, the organization has experienced more than 60% growth and is entering an exciting new stage of expansion. This newly created executive leadership position is designed to help build operational structure, improve accountability, strengthen leadership alignment, and support continued long-term growth.
Position Summary
The Integrator/Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as the operational leader of the organization, partnering directly with the CEO to transform vision into execution. This individual will oversee daily operations, align leadership teams, improve organizational accountability, implement scalable processes, and ensure company initiatives are successfully executed.
This role is ideal for a proven executive leader who thrives in fast-growing organizations, enjoys building systems and developing leaders, and can successfully guide teams through change while maintaining a strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership
- Partner directly with the CEO to execute the company's long-term vision
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments
- Lead executive leadership meetings and maintain organizational alignment
- Hold leadership accountable to company goals and measurable outcomes
- Serve as the primary operational leader for the organization
Operations Management
- Improve operational efficiency and company-wide processes
- Develop and monitor KPIs, scorecards, and operational metrics
- Lead annual planning, quarterly planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments
Leadership & Team Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop department leaders
- Build accountability throughout the organization
- Ensure the right people are in the right roles
- Foster collaboration and healthy communication between departments
- Support employee engagement and long-term retention
Strategic Execution
- Turn executive vision into actionable plans
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and organizational projects
- Support continued company growth through disciplined execution
- Create structure while maintaining flexibility in a growing business
- Drive company priorities to completion
EOS / Organizational Development
- Lead EOS implementation and organizational discipline
- Facilitate Level 10 Meetings
- Maintain the Accountability Chart
- Drive Rocks, Scorecards, and IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve)
- Help reinforce company core values throughout the organization
- Build accountability without disrupting the company's established culture
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the CEO.
Direct reports currently include:
- Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- VP of Farming Operations
The COO/Integrator will also work closely with the executive leadership team through regular one-on-one meetings and weekly leadership meetings.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 10 years of executive or senior leadership experience
- Proven experience leading organizational growth and operational improvements
- Strong experience with change management and process implementation
- Experience leading multiple departments and developing leadership teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent executive leadership experience
Preferred
- Agriculture or farming industry experience
- EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) implementation experience
- Business coaching or organizational development experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience working within family-owned or privately held businesses
