Join Our Team as a Clinical Lab Scientist - Blood Bank Specialist!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (21:30 - 07:30) \n Start time may flex to 20:00 as needed\n \n- Experience Required: \n 2 years of recent Clinical Lab Scientist experience in Blood Bank \n Must be a seasoned traveler with extensive Blood Bank experience \n Experience in a large hospital (300+ beds) required \n Must have Trauma Level I and II experience \n \n- Certifications: \n Required: ASCP-BB \n Preferred: Clin. Immunohem Sci \n \n- Charting System Experience: \n Epic (hard stop) \n \n- Skills Needed: \n Blood Bank Procedures \n ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID \n AHG Crossmatch \n Antibody Typing: Tube Method \n Antigen Typing \n Direct Coombs (DAT) \n Electronic Crossmatch \n Specimen Processing/Handling \n Quality Assurance and Controls \n Hematology/Coagulation \n Experience with Wellsky and Immucor Instrumentation preferred \n \n- Work Environment: \n Dynamic and high-volume laboratory \n Handle 30-50 samples a day with confidence \n Ability to work fully independently at night \n\n- Scheduling Information: \n Rotating weekends and holidays required \n Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request \n Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered \n\n- Patient Age Groups: \n Adults \n\n- Impactful Work: \n Join a dedicated team in a MAGNET-designated acute care hospital! \n Make a difference every day in patient care through your expertise in blood bank technology!\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
