In the semiconductor industry, a Production Technician—often called a Wafer Fab Technician or Cleanroom Technician—works in a highly specialized, ultra-clean environment to manufacture microchips and integrated circuits. Experienced assemblers are also encouraged, as training will be provided.
Because semiconductor manufacturing deals with microscopic components, a single speck of dust can ruin millions of dollars of product. Therefore, this role focuses heavily on contamination control, strict protocols, and operating complex, high-tech machinery.
