What You'll Do
As a Litigation Attorney, you'll manage a meaningful caseload while working alongside a collaborative, high-performing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing employment litigation matters from pre-litigation through resolution
- Conducting case evaluations and developing litigation strategy
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Managing written discovery and discovery strategy
- Attending mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances
- Working with experts and preparing cases for trial
- Advising and communicating with clients throughout litigation
- Mentoring paralegals and litigation support staff while delegating administrative work appropriately
- Helping strengthen and expand one of California's fastest-growing plaintiff employment practices
What We're Looking For
We're seeking attorneys who combine strong legal skills with sound judgment and a genuine passion for advocacy.
Preferred qualifications:
- Active member of the California Bar in good standing
- 5+ years of California employment litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Significant experience taking and defending depositions
- Strong law and motion practice
- Excellent negotiation and mediation skills
- Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy
- Highly organized with strong case management abilities
- Team-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement
Trial experience is a plus but not required.
