OTR Drivers are responsible for transporting general freight over regional and long-haul routes, primarily operating tractor-trailers. They ensure timely and safe delivery across distances ranging from 200 miles to over 500 miles, maintaining compliance with logbook standards and company safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer trucks for regional and long-haul freight transportation
- Maintain accurate logbooks in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure on-time delivery of cargo with a focus on safety and fuel efficiency
- Transport general freight across various routes, including frequent overnight travel on long-haul trips
- Adhere to company and federal safety standards to maintain a strong safety record
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in trucking
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Strong communication skills
