Dependable, and motivated Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide individualized ABA services to children and adolescents in their homes throughout Orange County.

The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement treatment plans, teach communication and daily living skills, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and help each client make meaningful progress.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one ABA therapy in clients’ homes.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs as written by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect accurate data during each session.
  • Complete session notes and required documentation within established deadlines.
  • Use reinforcement, prompting, modeling, natural-environment teaching, and other ABA strategies.
  • Support clients with communication, social, behavioral, safety, self-help, and daily living goals.
  • Communicate professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and other members of the clinical team.
  • Participate in supervision, training, and treatment-plan updates.
  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
  • Follow all company policies, ethical requirements, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification through the BACB or complete the 40 hour training within 30 days after hire date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes within Orange County.
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to pass required background and employment screenings.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Ability to follow written treatment protocols and accept ongoing clinical feedback.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Dependable attendance and consistent availability.

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Afternoon, evening, and after-school availability may be required depending on client schedules.

Applicants should provide their current availability and the Orange County areas they are willing to serve.

Physical Requirements

The position may require sitting on the floor, standing, walking, bending, lifting or carrying therapy materials, and safely responding to client behavior. Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals.
