Huckeye Health Staffing is seeking two experienced Speech Therapists/Speech-Language Pathologists to provide field-based services in a home health and hospice setting.
Position Details
Pay: $80.00 per hour
Primary Office: 4041 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 100, Newport Beach, CA
Setting: Home Health and Hospice
Travel: Home visits are required
Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
- Perform ongoing assessments and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment goals and home-care strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- At least 18 months of experience in an acute-care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Reliable transportation for field-based assignments.
- Ability to complete home visits as scheduled.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
