Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
A growing, family-oriented property maintenance company is seeking two skilled Maintenance Technicians to service residential communities and HOA properties throughout San Diego County. This position is ideal for a dependable, professional technician who can communicate effectively with residents and property representatives, work independently, and complete a variety of building maintenance and repair projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry, drywall, stucco, and painting work.
- Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Perform welding work based on project needs and experience.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Travel to HOA and residential properties, primarily in North County.
- Communicate professionally with residents, customers, property managers, and internal team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Represent the company professionally while working at customer locations.
- Work independently and manage assigned projects with limited supervision.
- Use standard carpentry tools and company-provided specialty tools.
Essential Skills
- Previous building, property, facilities, or general maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience with carpentry, drywall, stucco, and painting.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Strong verbal communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently after completing initial training.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation for traveling between job sites.
- Ability to provide standard carpentry hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Welding experience.
- Advanced electrical maintenance experience.
- Bilingual communication skills.
- Previous experience servicing HOA, multifamily, residential, or property-management clients.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
