Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead operations at a community center pharmacy in Redding, CA. The role begins full-time on June 29th, following training scheduled mid to late next week. This contract position is expected to last 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing all pharmacy operations and compliance
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and quality service
- Collaborate closely with center healthcare providers to support patient care
- Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system with training provided as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Recent retail pharmacy experience is essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills in managing pharmacy staff
- Ability to adapt to a new pharmacy system (New Leaf) with training support
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
