The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department and reports to the Human Resources Director. This role requires a professional with an understanding of HR processes, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information. The HR Administrative Assistant must be highly organized, detailed oriented, proactive, have strong written and verbal communication skills. The HR Administrative Assistant must also be comfortable handling confidential information while providing excellent support to employees, the HR team and Company leadership. The corporate office is located in Lancaster, California with traditional hours of operation.
Job Responsibilities
In addition to following company policies and procedures, main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the HR Department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and preparing documents
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain electronic filing systems
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist in drafting and distributing memos, announcements, and other communications
- Support occasional planning and execution of company events and meetings
- Handle occasional employee inquiries
- Assist with recruitment processes such as posting job ads, coordinating interviews, and tracking candidates
- Support as needed with HR and Safety Audits
- Support performance management cycles, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives
- Requirements & Skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Has a “can-do” attitude, sense of optimism, ownership, and commitment towards his/her work responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve HR administrative processes and workflows
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of administrative experience HR support experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Proficient in Spanish
- Professional appearance
