About the Role

Are you a handy person who loves helping others? Discount Medical Equipment and Supply, Inc. is looking for a part-time Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face who keeps essential medical equipment working perfectly for our customers.

You will spend your day troubleshooting repairs, installing equipment at the store or in customer homes, and helping out on our retail floor. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where your technical skills will directly improve someone's daily life. You will work closely with our General Manager and a supportive store team.

What You Will Do

• Fix and Install Equipment: Take care of routine maintenance, repairs, and setups for medical gear.

• Help Customers: Warmly greet visitors, answer questions, and help them find the right products.

• Run the Register: Process sales, returns, and rentals smoothly using our store checkout system.

• Keep Things Organized: Unpack new inventory, stock the shelves, and keep the warehouse tidy.

• Brighten the Store: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked environment for everyone.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• Skills: Great mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn about our products.

• Experience: A background in repair or technical service is preferred.

• Physical Comfort: Ability to stand and walk during your shift and lift items up to 50 pounds.

• Availability: Flexibility to work a mix of weekdays, weekends, and some evenings.
