Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, delivering/picking up material, & tracking inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion
- Load and unload trucks
- Deliver to and pick up material from vendors and jobsites (this job requires daily driving to different cities within the SoCal area)
- General warehouse organization & cleaning
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for any damages, defects, or errors
- Stage flooring materials according to work orders
- Track inventory accurately
- Take company vehicles in for maintenance when needed
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- MUST have a High school diploma/GED
- MUST have a Valid Driver's License
- MUST pass a standard background check
- Bi-lingual (able to adequately speak & understand Spanish)
- Previous flooring experience is preferred
- Ability to use warehouse equipment including sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Experience with a Zebra Scanner for inventory tracking is a plus
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented
