Credential Required: Active California RCFE Administrator CertificationAbout the RoleShareSTAFF is partnering with a respected, faith-based senior living community in Ripon, California to hire an experienced Assisted Living Administrator. This is a direct-hire opportunity to lead day-to-day operations of a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) within a larger multi-level retirement community. The Administrator is responsible for regulatory compliance, resident care quality, staff leadership, operational performance, and the overall well-being of residents who call this community home.What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the RCFE in compliance with California Title 22 regulations and Department of Social Services (DSS) licensing requirements
- Lead, supervise, and develop care staff, including Resident Assistants, Medication Technicians, and department supervisors
- Ensure high-quality resident care and satisfaction through active rounding, family engagement, and service plan oversight
- Maintain regulatory compliance, including licensing surveys, incident reporting, and corrective action plans
- Manage operational and financial performance against budget, including census, occupancy, and labor metrics
- Oversee resident admissions, assessments, and discharge planning in coordination with clinical partners
- Coordinate with other levels of care on the campus (independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing) to support aging in place
- Foster a mission-aligned culture that honors the community's faith-based values while maintaining an inclusive, welcoming environment for all residents, families, and staff
What You Bring - Required
- Active California RCFE Administrator Certification in good standing (California Department of Social Services)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of administrative or management experience in senior living, assisted living, or a similar licensed care setting
- Working knowledge of California Title 22 RCFE regulations and DSS licensing requirements
- Proven leadership, staff development, and team-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Financial and operational acumen, including budget management and census/occupancy oversight
What You Bring - Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business, Gerontology, or related field
- Experience in a multi-level retirement community or continuing care retirement community (CCRC) setting
- Familiarity with memory care, assisted living, and skilled nursing coordination
- Experience with mission-driven, faith-based, or non-profit senior living organizations
