As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will coordinate shipping and receiving functions at the facility, manage dock organization, and handle shipping supplies. You will address issues arising in shipping or inventory handling, retain and scan documentation, and send communications to employees. Additionally, you'll schedule pick-ups with vendors, monitor shipments in transit, and perform data entry using Excel.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping and receiving functions, including outbound and inbound calls.
- Manage dock organization and maintain shipping supplies.
- Address and resolve issues in shipping or inventory handling.
- Retain and scan documentation while sending communications to employees.
- Schedule pick-ups with vendors and monitor shipments in transit.
- Perform data entry tasks using Excel.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of logistics and/or warehouse experience.
- Proficiency in data entry, particularly using Excel.
- Experience in warehouse operations with an emphasis on cycle counts and inventory control.
- Ability to cross-function across various departments, including inventory and ERP systems.
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication.
- Expertise in high-volume inventory management.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/WMS (warehouse management systems).
- Proficient in cycle counts.

Work Environment
The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm. The team consists of one manager and four team members, working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and flexible environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
