Position: Civil Engineering Expert - Visual Reasoning Benchmark
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$85/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Source genuine professional artifacts such as floorplans, blueprints, site plans, and structural drawings.
- Author benchmark problems that require reasoning over engineering visuals, beyond text alone.
- Determine concise and unambiguous final answers and write professional-level solutions.
- Tag each problem with domain, artifact type, skill tested, and difficulty.
- Ensure every problem is reviewed by another domain expert before release.
- Work independently and remotely with flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Hands-on experience with real civil engineering and architecture artifacts.
- Ability to engage in genuine structural, spatial, and multi-step reasoning.
