Staff Accountant | Real Estate Development | Oakland

Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices across multiple entities and projects
• Manage the AP process, vendor relationships, and payment activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Assist with consolidations, audits, tax requests, and compliance reporting
• Partner with accounting, operations, and project teams to improve processes and maintain strong financial controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• Experience in real estate, construction, or another project-based industry preferred
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment
• Yardi or similar ERP experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
