Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract opportunity offers a unique chance to make a real difference during a 12-week leave of absence, starting August 9th. You’ll be working directly with students, helping them develop essential life and academic skills to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous experience in school settings or working with children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and compassion in meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess students’ strengths and needs within school routines and environments
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create supportive strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and guidance
- Encourage student independence and engagement across academic and functional activities
