  • Proficiency in negotiation, including pricing, terms, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Working knowledge of ISO-related requirements applicable to suppliers and materials.
  • Familiarity with contract law and supplier agreements, including key commercial terms and risk considerations.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret procurement data and develop meaningful metrics and reports.
  • Experience resolving invoice discrepancies, pricing mismatches, and other procurement-related issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency using ERP systems for purchasing, order tracking, and data analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • APICS or CPM certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) and providing supplier input on design-for-manufacturability (DFM).
  • Background in highly regulated or quality-focused industries such as electronics, medical devices, or aerospace.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, and Finance.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to prepare and share procurement metrics and supplier performance scorecards.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple suppliers, purchase orders, and deadlines simultaneously.
