Job DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance Technician — CNC & Fluid Power Systems

Role snapshot
- Keep CNC machinery and production assets at peak performance through preventative maintenance and on‑the‑spot repairs
- Independently troubleshoot mechanical failures to root cause
- Service hydraulic/pneumatic systems; change hoses, belts, bearings, and seals
- Adjust gibs, proximity switches, and pump pressures for accuracy and reliability
- Maintain lubrication and coolant systems
- Perform light electrical repairs and simple installations on single‑ and three‑phase circuits
- Support facility needs (e.g., lighting, basic building systems)
- Interpret mechanical prints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Champion safety and housekeeping standards across the shop
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing setting
- Background working on CNC machinery (preferred)
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skill
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic components and operation
- Comfort reading mechanical drawings and schematics
- Understanding of bearing types and best‑use scenarios
- Ability to handle basic electrical work with single‑ and three‑phase power
- Independent, dependable, and safety‑first with strong communication and teamwork
Bonus points
- Experience with formal CNC PM programs
- Exposure to manufacturing facility maintenance practices
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, conveyors, and industrial mechanical systems
- Experience dialing in machine alignment and precision adjustments
