You'll provide essential services to children with mild to moderate needs while collaborating with a dedicated educational team. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Knowledge of current best practices for elementary-aged students
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating mild/moderate speech and language disorders
- Adept at collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Able to manage documentation, IEP development, and progress monitoring efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve elementary students across one or two school sites with diverse backgrounds and support needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide tailored speech and language therapy
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain current and accurate records in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Promote positive communication and foster an inclusive, welcoming learning environment
