Job DescriptionSchedule:Monday – Friday7:00 AM – 3:30 PMJob Term: TempPosition Summary:The Electronics Assembler / Soldering Technician is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while ensuring all products meet IPC quality standards. This role requires experience with SMT and through-hole soldering, blueprint reading, and precision assembly in an electronics manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform soldering of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering irons, hand tools, and related equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and IPC-A-610 standards to ensure accurate assembly and soldering qualityConduct visual inspections of solder joints and completed assemblies to verify compliance with IPC-A-610 quality standardsAssemble mechanical components and wire electrical systems according to engineering drawings and specificationsUse hand tools and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently during assembly processesFollow detailed assembly instructions and work orders to meet customer specificationsIdentify and report quality issues or assembly defects to supervisorsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company quality, safety, and manufacturing proceduresJob Requirements:Experience soldering SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and through-hole electronic components requiredAbility to operate soldering equipment, hand tools, and precision assembly toolsProficiency in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and IPC-A-610 standardsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipExperience in an electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environment preferredGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced production environmentIPC certification is a plus but not required
