Best Electric is looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team and support our LAUSD public works electrical construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in electrical construction while working on school modernization and public infrastructure projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage RFIs (Requests for Information)
• Prepare Change Order Proposals (COPs)
• Prepare and track submittals
• Assist with project estimating and bid preparation
• Review electrical plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and owners
• Maintain project documentation and support successful project delivery

Qualifications:

• Experience in electrical construction or construction management is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or estimating software is a plus)
• Eager to learn and grow in the public works construction industry
