Dental Office Manager – New Practice Start-Up


Location: San Rafael, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $38 per hour, depending on experience


A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with a newly established, modern dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager. The ideal candidate must have experience opening and building a dental practice from the ground up.

This position requires a confident leader who can establish office systems, create efficient workflows, support team development, and oversee daily operations while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement front-office systems, policies, and workflows
  • Assist with hiring, training, and managing the dental team
  • Oversee scheduling, treatment coordination, insurance, billing, and collections
  • Monitor production goals, collections, and key performance indicators
  • Develop systems for patient communication, retention, and case acceptance
  • Maintain compliance with employment and dental-office regulations
  • Manage vendors and outside service providers
  • Partner with the doctor to build and grow the practice

  • Open Dental practice management software
  • Weave patient communication software
  • Dexis digital imaging
  • iTero digital scanner
  • Five operatories
  • PPO and fee-for-service practice
  • Comprehensive, cosmetic, restorative, implant, and surgical dentistry

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Dental office management experience
  • Proven experience opening or building a dental practice from the ground up
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, collections, and treatment coordination
  • Experience developing office systems and standard operating procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of PPO and fee-for-service dental practice operations
