Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential (or equivalent California credential for Language/Speech and Hearing services)
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Commitment to in-person, onsite work throughout the assignment
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to deliver holistic support
- Track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions catered to each learner’s unique needs
- Offer consultative services and resources to teachers to enhance classroom communication strategies
