Key Qualifications:

Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential (or equivalent California credential for Language/Speech and Hearing services)
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
Commitment to in-person, onsite work throughout the assignment

Core Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to deliver holistic support
Track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
Provide direct therapeutic interventions catered to each learner’s unique needs
Offer consultative services and resources to teachers to enhance classroom communication strategies
