Job DescriptionFront Desk Receptionist $22-$24/hr | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM A growing office environment in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to support daily operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, calls, and incoming deliveries. This is a strong opportunity for someone with receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing experience who is looking for consistent hours and long-term potential. What You'll Be Doing
- Greet visitors and manage front desk check-in
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain visitor logs, call records, and general office documentation
- Support filing, data entry, and administrative organization
- Keep reception and common areas organized
- Monitor office supplies and assist with restocking
- Use standard office equipment including phones, copiers, and computers
What They're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication skills (phone, in-person, and written)
- Comfortable multitasking and managing changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Prior receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Data entry experience is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Pay: $22-$24/hour, depending on experience
- Employment Type: Temp-to-hire with opportunity for long-term placement
Work Environment Professional office setting with regular use of standard office equipment. This is primarily a seated role with occasional filing and general office movement as needed. Why Candidates Apply
