Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler II to perform precision electronic and electromechanical assembly in a production environment. This role includes assembly of small components, cable harnesses, PCB assemblies, and classified assemblies requiring microscope work, soldering, and high-voltage testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong electronics assembly experience, comfort working under microscopes for extended periods, and experience handling delicate/high-precision components.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of electronics or electromechanical assembly experience
  • Experience assembling under a microscope required
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions
  • Basic computer skills for work order logging, timecards, and process documentation
  • Ability to work independently and within team environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • J-STD-001 Certification preferred
  • Experience with PCB assembly and cable harnessing preferred


Technical Skills

Experience using:

  • Microscopes
  • Soldering irons
  • Wire strippers
  • Crimpers
  • Torque wrenches
  • Digital multimeters
  • Heat guns
  • Common hand tools
  • Winding/braiding machinery
  • High-voltage testing equipment (up to 12kV Hypot)

Knowledge of:

  • ESD controls
  • Resistance welding
  • Soldering and bonding techniques
  • Epoxy mixing
  • Packaging techniques
  • High-voltage potting/testing


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work
  • Assemble small precision components and electromechanical products
  • Work under microscopes for extended periods
  • Handle delicate small parts and piezoelectric crystals
  • Perform cable harness and PCB assembly
  • Complete intermediate mechanical assembly of small components
  • Conduct soldering, bonding, epoxy application, and packaging tasks
  • Perform high-voltage potting and testing
  • Follow work instructions, quality standards, and assembly procedures
  • Support production, engineering, and quality teams as needed


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work under microscopes for extended periods
  • Frequent close visual work and fine motor dexterity
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for detailed assembly tasks
