POSITION SUMMARY
Perform all mechanical maintenance throughout the job site, safely and effectively. Meet all company, state and local regulations/policies
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform preventative, corrective and emergency mechanical maintenance on all equipment throughout the job site under the direction of the Lead Mechanic / Site Manager.
- Ability to weld, fabricate, understanding hydraulic systems, rebuild equipment, and align conveyors.
- Conduct predictive analysis of all systems and equipment.
- Locate, troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions throughout the job site, which includes documenting problems and resolution as well as reporting all problems and resolutions of mechanical malfunctions to the Lead Mechanic / Site Manager.
- Ensure completion of work orders based on priority and schedule.
- Participate and complete training programs within the period allotted.
- Respond to call-in emergency repair work and perform on-call duty based on rotational schedule.
- Maintain work tools and ensure work tools are put in appropriate secure place after using.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Enforce and maintain standard safety procedures.

STATUS AND SCOPE
- Knowledge of standard safety procedures (LO-BO-TO, Confined Space Entry etc.).
- Must be able to work in a semi-odorous environment.
- Must be able to work outdoors throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent with studies/training in engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an industrial mechanic with experience in both mechanical and electrical (High Voltage AC/DC) process related equipment, including hydraulics.
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance/operation preferred.
