Contract Role

Summary

At Client, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences. We're looking for a Marketing Project Manager within Services Marketing to support Client Books and Client News, driving cross-functional marketing initiatives that connect product, growth, and customer experience.

This role sits at the center of execution—translating strategy into clear plans, aligning partners, and ensuring high-quality delivery across a range of marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.

Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of marketing initiatives within Services Marketing supporting Client Books and Client News, from intake and scoping through execution and post-launch review.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal and external partners spanning Business, Product, PR, Analytics, Growth, Media, Creative, Engineering, Editorial, Finance, and Client Services teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Navigate complex cross-functional collaboration across international teams and time zones, ensuring work is proactively planned, dependencies are managed early, and teams operate with clarity and efficiency.
  • Translate marketing priorities into clear project plans, roadmaps, timelines, trackers, and deliverables.
  • Assist with annual and quarterly forecast planning for upcoming marketing priorities.
  • Drive end-to-end project management of event planning and execution.
  • Support subscription growth initiatives, including lifecycle marketing, on-device experiences, and campaign execution.
  • Own and maintain project documentation, production schedules, status reporting, and master timelines across initiatives.
  • Drive alignment on changing scope, timelines, and priorities while ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
  • Establish and run effective team rhythms, including kickoffs, status meetings, executive reviews, and post-mortems.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps early; proactively drive resolution across stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear, consistent communication and visibility across stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and ways of working across teams.
  • Support meeting coordination, notes, recaps, and action tracking to ensure clarity and accountability across initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing and Project Managers on tracking standards and protocol.
  • Exercise strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in project or program management within marketing, product marketing, growth, or operations environments.
  • 3–5 years of event planning, experiential marketing, or event management experience, including ownership of end-to-end execution for high-visibility programs at a leading consumer brand, media company, technology company, agency, or similarly high-performing organization.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex inputs into clear, actionable outputs.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience managing timelines, trackers, and multiple competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership and initiative.
  • Proven ability to anticipate change, problem-solve proactively, and drive work forward independently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality execution.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Wrike, Workfront, Quip, Coda, or similar platforms.
  • Direct experience handling critical and confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within Services or subscription-based products.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel campaigns, lifecycle marketing, on-device experiences, or growth-focused initiatives.
  • Experience working across marketing, business, product, analytics, and creative teams.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey and engagement across a services ecosystem.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Demonstrated operational rigor and ability to manage highly detailed executional workflows with accuracy and discretion.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and optimizing team processes and workflows.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
