Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT & Epicor Support Technician to join our team in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting information technology systems, end users, and the Epicor ERP platform while helping maintain efficient business operations across multiple departments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT support experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and experience supporting Epicor ERP within a manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting critical business and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Infrastructure
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network-connected equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations and related hardware.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including wireless access points, VPN connectivity, and network devices.
- Perform software installations, updates, and patch management.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, security awareness, and access control compliance.
- Assist with data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Epicor ERP Support
- Provide day-to-day support for Epicor ERP users across manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, quality, engineering, finance, and shipping departments.
- Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Assist users with Epicor transactions, reports, dashboards, Business Activity Queries (BAQs), and system navigation.
- Support ERP upgrades, testing, implementations, and system enhancement projects.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with data validation, imports, reporting, and system integrity initiatives.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify business needs and implement ERP solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Manufacturing Systems Support
- Support shop floor technology, including barcode scanners, label printers, manufacturing terminals, and production workstations.
- Assist with system requirements related to quality, traceability, and compliance.
- Support integrations between ERP and manufacturing systems.
- Help maintain accurate system data to support quality standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to IT systems and business processes.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in a business or manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting Epicor ERP.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Microsoft 365
- PC hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting
- User account administration and system support
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and shop floor systems.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and system administration.
- Familiarity with aerospace, ISO, AS9100, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with ERP reporting, BAQs, dashboards, and system customization.
