- Perform routine preventive maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, part replacement)
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools and testing equipment
- Repair or replace defective parts (motors, belts, bearings, valves, etc.)
- Disassemble and reassemble machines and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
- Maintain maintenance logs and records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Work with other technicians or engineers to improve machine performance
