Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming school term! This assignment focuses on providing vital psychological services, covering a maternity leave starting August 5th and extending through October 30th, with the possibility to continue into December. The district is excited to schedule interviews the week of July 13th–17th and is moving quickly for the right candidate.
Ideal candidates bring specialized experience to the table—at least five years as a School Psychologist and a minimum of two years working continuously in a school environment. Your expertise will make a meaningful impact on a diverse caseload, serving students with mild to severe disabilities across multiple schools.
Key qualifications:
- Active California School Psychologist credential required
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2 or more consecutive years in school-based settings
- Proven ability to administer evaluations, assessments, and contribute to IEPs
- Comfortable working with a broad spectrum of disabilities, K-12
Major responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and interpret psychological data for IEP development
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student well-being
- Support the implementation of interventions, behavioral plans, and counseling services
- Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely completion of all required documentation
