Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are currently seeking two dedicated assemblers for our day shift (6am - 2:30pm). As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform touch-up painting as directed.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and work rules, guidelines, and regulations.
- Set up, operate, and maintain production tools and equipment.
- Keep the supervisor informed of problems, progress, and suggestions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Identify opportunities that provide cost-effective alternative methods to processes and materials.
- Keep red-lines and markups of any drawing changes required during manufacturing and submit them to the supervisor upon request.
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Comfortability with power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measurer.
- Mechanical assembly experience.
- Previous assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with power tools, tape measures, and hand tools.
- Ability to read product drawings and blueprints.
- Previous assembly or construction experience is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work in a spacious machine shop located within a large warehouse alongside 220 employees. The environment is open and collaborative, with 10% of the time spent sitting and 90% walking or standing. Be prepared for frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, and tasks that require bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing. The role involves close work with small fonts and fine print on drawings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
