Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The position starts August 31, 2026, and runs through June 16, 2027. Your work will help shape inclusive learning experiences and prepare these remarkable learners for future success.
What you bring:
- Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (required)
- Experience working with students in a Special Day Class (SDC) or resource setting
- Knowledge of curriculum development in English and Math for middle grades
- Ability to implement IEP goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Passion for creating accessible, engaging instruction for all learners
In this role, you will:
- Deliver targeted English and Math instruction based on student IEPs
- Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment to meet diverse needs
- Track student progress and update IEPs in collaboration with team members
- Communicate regularly with families and partner with general education staff
- Integrate evidence-based strategies and differentiated teaching techniques
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all education regulations
