Adecco is hiring immediately for a Contract Engineering Recruiter with a local client in Santa Clara, CA. Pay is $45.00/hr. - $60.00/hr.
Duties:
· The Contract Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers, HRBPs, and business leaders to drive full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.
· This position requires strong technical sourcing skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously.
· Manage end-to-end recruitment for Process Engineering and Product Engineering roles across SPG.
· Conduct detailed intake meetings to understand technical hiring needs and team objectives.
· Build effective sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive engineering talent.
· Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, engineering networks, talent communities, referrals, industry events, and specialized semiconductor channels.
· Develop and maintain strong pipelines for critical skill areas such as:
o Semiconductor process development
o Deposition, etch, CMP, metrology
o Hardware and product development
o Data analysis and yield improvement
· Screen for technical competencies, problem-solving ability, semiconductor tool knowledge, and culture fit.
· Guide candidates smoothly through the interview and offer process.
· Advise hiring managers on market insights, talent availability, job content, and competitive positioning.
· Provide weekly updates on pipeline health, challenges, and opportunities.
· Collaborate with workforce planning, compensation, and HR operations teams to ensure seamless hiring execution.
· Manage requisitions, interview feedback, and candidate progression in Workday and Eightfold.
· Ensure compliance with all company, federal, and state hiring policies.
· Track recruiting metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferred experience is semiconductor, hardware, or complex engineering roles.
· Demonstrated success sourcing Process Engineering and/or Product Engineering talent preferred.
· Experience working in a highly technical environment with multiple stakeholders.
· Strong communication, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.
· Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms (Workday strongly preferred).
· Experience recruiting within a semiconductor OEM, fab, or advanced manufacturing environment is a plus
· Understanding semiconductor process modules (Deposition, Etch, CMP, PVD/CVD, etc.) is a plus
· Ability to interpret technical resumes and assess engineering competencies.
· Delivering high-quality engineering candidates in a competitive talent market
· Building trust and strong partnerships with SPG hiring leaders
· Effectively managing a demanding requisition load
· Providing an exceptional candidate’s experience

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
