Job Description

Job Description

Our organization is seeking board-certified or board-eligible neurologists interested in pursuing a Clinical Educator role within the Department of Neurology. We value a comprehensive interest in clinical neurology, and while a subspecialty focus is not mandatory, candidates with such interests may develop them alongside our existing subspecialty programs. Potential subspecialty areas for this role include EMG/neuromuscular (preferably with fellowship training), movement disorders, neuro-otology, headache management, multiple sclerosis, functional disorders, or dementia.

This position offers a flexible mix of responsibilities, including both neurology clinics and participation in our general neurology teaching ward service, tailored to the candidate's preferences. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about educating neurology residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a sense of clinical responsibility, collaboration, and holistic patient care. Faculty development opportunities through seminars and conferences aimed at enhancing neurology education and teaching are supported, along with chances for clinical research and educational outcomes.

Our neurology department operates within a newly established tertiary academic medical center, an expanding regional medical center, a faculty clinical practice, and a Federally Qualified Health Center. We pride ourselves on being a collegial team that successfully balances fulfilling academic careers with personal and family life.
