Position Overview:
\n
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing Professional to lead category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement, project management, and cross-functional leadership, with experience developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and driving operational value. A background in the utility industry and proficiency with ERP and procurement systems (such as SAP and ARIBA) is preferred. Candidates should have 4–8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred certifications include PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or CPSM/CPSW.

Responsibilities:

- Subject matter expert for particular commodities or services in the industry.
- Leads the development of high complexity category strategies.
- Leads cross-functional team through strategic sourcing process and development/execution of negotiation strategies for high complexity spend categories.
- Works with senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making at the officer level.
- Develops and review performance data with suppliers.
- Works with suppliers to drive ongoing value discovery.
- Develops and sustains mutually beneficial strategic relationships with category and cross-portfolio suppliers.
- Maintains awareness of industry and market trends through ongoing research commodities by working with the industry on best practices.
- Creates and maintains category plans.
- Conducts and documents market research and supplier risk analysis to verify the financial health of existing
