Job Title: Private duty in-home overnight care-giver
Schedule: Night shift (~2100-0700); 7-10 shifts per month with additional shifts available as needed; flexible schedule organized quarterly
Location: Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego, CA
Position Overview: The patient is a fully capable/competent adult male professional living at home with his family. Patient has a tracheostomy that requires in-home ventilator management and an enteral (tube) feeding while asleep. This position requires vital signs monitoring, equipment adjustment, and documentation in accordance with physician standing orders. Preferred Experience: Hospital experience or experience with ventilators is preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive equipment training. Emergency training/certification in BLS, ACLS, AMLS, or equivalent is also preferred. One-on-one care requires reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. Sleeping during night shift is prohibited.
