📌 Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage a high-volume invoice workload while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong vendor relationships. This is a hands-on, full-cycle AP role where your expertise truly matters.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Process ~1,500 invoices per month (~350 weekly) with high accuracy
- Perform 3-way matching, batching, and PO processing
- Review invoices for proper GL coding, tax accuracy, and supporting documentation
- Execute weekly check runs and prioritize payments based on vendor terms
- Manage vendor relationships and reconcile monthly vendor statements
- Process credit card transactions, EFT payments, and expense reports
- Monitor AP inbox and ensure timely processing of invoices
- Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals
✅ What You Bring
- 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
- Strong experience with 3-way matching and high-volume processing
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics preferred, others welcome)
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
🌟 Preferred Experience
- Handling 1500+ invoices/month
- Experience with AP accruals and vendor payments
- Familiarity with EFT processing and check runs
- Background in manufacturing (nice to have, not required)

🚫 What Doesn’t Fit
- No experience with 3-way matching
- Limited Excel capability (no pivots/lookups)
- No experience in high-volume AP environments

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
