Established (70+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorneys in Los Angeles, CA
An established firm based in Los Angeles, CA with over 70 years in practice is hiring multiple Associate Attorneys with 2+ years of experience to join their Insurance Coverage, Civil Litigation, and Employment Law practice groups on a hybrid schedule. These Attorneys will handle a diverse caseload that includes CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers' compensation, first party property, general civil litigation, and employment matters.
Offer: Salary range: $155,000-$190,000+, contingent on experience
Eligibility for a year-end discretionary bonus

Qualifications: A minimum of 2+ years of insurance coverage, civil litigation, or employment law experience is required
Familiarity handling matters such as CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers' compensation, first party property, general civil litigation, or employment disputes
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is required
Active California Bar license in good standing is required
Strong analytical abilities with persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong academic background with demonstrated achievement
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities
Collaborative team player who works well with colleagues and clients
Responsibilities: Draft coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents across insurance coverage, civil litigation, and employment matters
Litigate disputes from inception through trial, including CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers' compensation, first party property, general civil litigation, and employment cases
Engage directly with clients to understand objectives and provide strategic counsel
Argue motions in state and federal court
Conduct depositions of witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives
Participate in trials and other dispositive proceedings
Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's Insurance Coverage, Civil Litigation, and Employment Law practice groups in its California offices, including Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego
Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
