Job DescriptionRefrigeration Assembler
Location: Chino, CA
Shift: 5am - 1:30 pm, plus OT
Pay Rate: $22.01 per hour
Temp to Hire after 90 days
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical controller boxes and related components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Install and mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, power supplies, terminal blocks, and wiring harnesses.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing.
- Label wires and components according to specifications.
- Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical testing.
- Ensure proper torque specifications and secure mounting of components.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Identify and report defective materials or discrepancies in documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic computer and inventory software knowledge
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and low-voltage systems.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and torque tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Knowledge of voltmeter and troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands for fine motor skills.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed.
