Job Description

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support a growing commercial real estate portfolio. This hybrid role blends lease administration, legal document preparation, due diligence coordination, and asset management support. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial leases, service/vendor contracts, and real estate law; and enjoys working cross‑functionally with legal, property management, and asset management teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth portfolio operations.



Key Responsibilitie

  • Review, draft, and prepare commercial lease documents, amendments, assignments, and related legal agreements
  • Maintain accurate lease files, abstract key terms, and track critical dates (renewals, expirations, options)
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on disputes, compliance issues, estoppels, SNDAs, and tenant‑related legal matters
  • Support due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, including organizing title, survey, environmental, and lease materials
  • Assist with purchase & sale agreements, escrow coordination, closing documents, and post‑closing follow‑up
  • Support financing activities including loan originations, refinances, lender due diligence, and closing documentation
  • Maintain corporate records, entity filings, annual reports, and compliance documentation
  • Manage databases for leases, easements, CC&Rs, service contracts, and property records
  • Prepare reports for management on lease status, compliance, property performance, and key dates
  • Respond to tenant inquiries related to lease obligations and legal documentation
  • Support litigation preparation, audits, insurance compliance, and document production for outside counsel

Qualificatio

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Legal Studies, or related field
  • Paralegal certification strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate, paralegal work, or asset/lease administration
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease terms, real estate law, and property management practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting and reviewing legal document
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across team
