Job Description
Job DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire a Secondary Moderate to Severe teachers for grades 6–12 for next school year.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized academic instruction in resource and co-taught settings for middle and high school students

Support students in accessing the general education curriculum with appropriate accommodations and modifications

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with transition planning components for secondary students

Collaborate with content-area teachers to co-plan and deliver inclusive instruction

Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies to address academic and social-emotional goals
Qualifications:

California Education Specialist Credential – Moderate/Severe Support Needs

Experience supporting secondary students with learning disabilities, ADHD, or related needs preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and instructional planning skills
