What You Will Do

  • Manage high-value personal injury and medical malpractice cases through all phases of litigation.
  • Lead and conduct expert witness depositions, a key responsibility of the role.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial-related proceedings.
  • Analyze medical records, case evidence, and liability factors to develop litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with medical experts and liability specialists.
  • Provide clients with guidance, communication, and support throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Work with internal teams to execute case strategy and achieve successful outcomes.

What You Will Need

  • Active California Bar license required.
  • Strong civil litigation experience; medical malpractice experience preferred.
  • Significant experience conducting expert witness depositions.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, and litigation matters.
  • Ability to analyze medical records and evaluate liability issues.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience handling high-value cases preferred.
  • Plaintiff-side personal injury experience preferred.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.
