We are currently seeking a Hospitality Safety Coordinator for our hotel properties in West Hollywood. We are looking for individuals with strong people skills, hospitality experience, and a polished professional presence. Security experience is welcome, but not required — we are willing to train and certify the right candidate.
Position Overview
This role focuses heavily on guest relations, hospitality, and maintaining a professional hotel environment. The ideal candidate is approachable, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate confidently with hotel guests, management, and staff.
This is not a traditional security guard position. We are seeking hospitality-minded individuals who understand professionalism, customer service, and creating a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests and visitors
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence throughout the property
- Assist guests with directions, questions, and general support
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and professional environment
- Work closely with hotel management and staff
- Conduct routine property walk throughs and visibility patrols
- Assist with de-escalation and conflict resolution when needed
- Complete basic incident reports and daily activity logs
- Uphold appearance, communication, and hospitality standards
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Hospitality, hotel, concierge, restaurant, or guest service experience preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Security experience is a plus, but not required
Training Provided
- California Guard Card assistance/certification
- Hospitality and customer service training
- Hotel safety procedures
- Report writing and incident documentation
- Professional de-escalation training
Schedule & Compensation
- Starting at $22/hour based on experience
