Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Adaptability, patience, and enthusiasm when supporting students with varied learning needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or special needs support is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the classroom and provide support to individual students or small groups.
  • Implement teacher-directed instructional activities and academic interventions.
  • Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, lunchrooms, and playgrounds.
  • Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
  • Support students with physical, emotional, or behavioral challenges as needed.
  • Help with preparation and organization of materials for lessons and school activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality, following all school and district guidelines.
