You will manage moderate- to major-scope contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met and to protect commercial and technical interests. You will work as an individual contributor reporting to a Contract Manager or Lead, interacting regularly across functions and with customers. Onsite in Irvine, CA.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Administer assigned contracts by analyzing performance requirements, purchase orders, pricing, terms and conditions.
  • Define requirements and prepare technically and commercially compliant proposal packages for complex RFPs.
  • Initiate and coordinate bid processes, gathering input from internal stakeholders and preparing responses.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, deliveries, and amendments within scope of authority.
  • Monitor contract performance, determine compliance, and identify when amendments or extensions are required.
  • Investigate and resolve claims or complaints, coordinating with technical and quality teams as needed.
  • Act as point of contact with customers on assigned contracts and participate in customer presentations.
  • Support order management tasks including limited order entry, schedule changes, portal management, demand plan creation, and customer communication.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced employees when applicable.

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Typically 2–5 years of progressive contract administration or related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and contracts and recommend procedural changes.
  • Strong negotiation skills to obtain favorable prices and terms.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills for interacting with team members, customers, and management.
  • Proficiency with standard business applications and specialized in-house/customer systems.

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

  • Contract management certification (NCMA, IACCM) preferred.
  • Training in export control (e.g., ECTI) preferred.
  • JD or MBA may substitute for certain certification preferences.

Pay Range

$105k to $115k/year
